I'm not a great mechanic, but I know which way to turn a wrench, I know how to follow instructions, and I know that whenever I buy an old car or motorcycle the next purchase should be the Clymer manual. I bought this volume to help me get a cantankerous 1973 CB125S running smooth, and it did. The detailed instructions on adjusting the carb were contrary to what some internet experts recommended but the Clymer instructions got the bike purring. Everything I needed to know- chain tension, rebuilding the fork, replacing the front brake shoes- was in this volume. When I sold the CB and bought a 74 XL125, I found everything I needed here, too. I've since sold the XL, but I'm hanging on to the manual. You never know when another little 70s Honda might catch your eye.
I've got a Honda CB125S. If I'm going to service it, this is my only option.It is a good service manual. No problems with it so far. Well written and clear-- at least to someone who's been into service manuals in the past.
